MY CAREER PASSION
It has been long since I recognized my quantitative mindset. When faced with difficulties, I tend to decompose them logically and find evidence supporting my reasonings. The gap lying between speaking the data language and generating business insights is the expertise of data science. I found my niche in the consulting career with a data science edge after polishing my computer and data analysis skills and accumulating my experience in financial projects. More sure that this is the career to pursue was when I discover both passion and competency--the indispensable potion to characterize “the right job.”
WHAT I DO IN SPARE TIME
During my spare time, I devoted myself to cultural activities. When I was at the Mainland Student Network, a cultural organization at UVA, I worked together with my teammates to organize events bridging the Chinese international students and the broad UVA community. Either by hosting a speed-dating show or lantern festivals, we strive to offer a platform where voices can be heard and shared.

I also love reading science fiction and running in my spare time. Sitting under the trees' shadow on the Lawn next to the Rotunda at UVA, and running across the whole campus to discover new sceneries or animals are two of my favorite things.
